By placing an order with Hodgsons Stove Supplies Ltd, whether through our website, via email, phone, or in person, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all orders unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Prices & Payment

All prices are in Pounds Sterling (GBP).

Hodgsons Stove Supplies Ltd is not VAT registered. Therefore, prices shown exclude VAT.

Payment must be made in full at the time of order.

We accept payment by debit/credit card via Shopify’s secure gateway.

Trade customers may be offered invoice terms upon approval.
3. Product Information
We strive to keep all product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing up-to-date and accurate. However, due to product improvements or supply changes, slight variations may occur.
Products may be rebranded and sold under the Hodgsons Stove Supplies label.
4. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy.

Orders over £500 (UK Mainland only) qualify for free standard shipping unless deemed oversized or remote.

Oversized or bulky items may incur additional shipping charges.

We reserve the right to split shipments or use alternate couriers where needed.

We do not accept liability for delays outside of our control.
5. Risk & Ownership
Risk passes to the buyer upon dispatch. Ownership of goods remains with Hodgsons Stove Supplies until full payment is received.
6. Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt for unused items in original, resaleable condition and packaging.

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

Opened or damaged items

Personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves)

Bespoke, labelled, or made-to-order products

Returns must be authorised by us before being sent back. Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

7. Trade Orders

Trade pricing is available for approved customers.

Minimum order quantities may apply.

Delivery rates for trade orders may differ based on size, weight, and delivery location.

Trade customers are expected to pay within agreed terms. Late payments may incur a charge of 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
8. Cancellations & Amendments
Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch, subject to our approval. A restocking or cancellation fee may apply. Once dispatched, cancellations are treated as returns.
9. Liability
We accept no liability for:

Loss of profits, business interruption, or indirect damage from product use

Damage resulting from misuse or application outside the product’s intended purpose
Our liability is limited to the cost of the item purchased.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control. This includes natural disasters, courier issues, strikes, pandemics, material shortages, or supplier delays.
11. Warranty
Goods are supplied in good faith and believed to be fit for purpose. Any warranty claims must be made within the warranty period and accompanied by proof of purchase. Some items are covered by manufacturer warranties.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
